We all want our children to feel contented and happy. But, what about your little newborn? How can you make sure that she is having a great time? Aside from shopping for jogging strollers and baby traveling bags in Malaysia, there are plenty of things that can make your little one happy. Use the following details as a guide.

Newborn

The sound of your voice, and sight of your face can soothe your baby. At first, your smiles will get blank stares, and it can be frustrating. You can consider that as a good sign. Of course, at this point, babies still don’t have the capacity to express their emotions. All they can do is look peaceful.

0 to 3 months

When your kid conforms herself to your arms, and doesn’t arch her back, then that is a sign that she is comfortable. At this point, she is happy when her basic needs are met. Just feed her, respond to her cries, lull her to sleep, and change her diapers.

1 to 3 months

At around 4 to 10 weeks, newborns would begin to give social smiles. There are smiles that also come from internal comfort, such as reflex or passing gas. Expect them to smile as a reaction to something that is done to them.

3 to 6 months

Things would get even more exciting since smiles would turn to laughter. Use this as a memorable mother-daughter bonding activity. Your baby would know be thrilled by touches and funny noises.

4 to 7 months

At this age, babies would be able to pick up sounds and intonations from listening to people around them. Also, they will be able to communicate their emotions in a vocal manner. Keep in mind that when they babble in a higher pitch, they are showing their interest and appreciation.

12 to 18 months

In your baby’s first year, she would gain a sense of humor. She will be able to make you laugh by putting a diaper on her head, or talking to her toys.
